H4 Visa stamping first time

Hello,

I hope whoever reading this message is doing good. I am trying to book an appointment for my wife (H4 Visa) first time. But due to the current situation, she cant book. By any chance can she apply for NIE - Family separation? I am on H1B & currently in the USA. Can you please suggest me few options. If I can apply for NIE - a letter from the employer is enough? or do I have to do anything else. Please direct me on the right path. She is stuck in India from last year i am trying to book an appointment but was not successful.

I strongly believe it does not fit in NIE, check from the authentic source below, it's in easy to understand English. 

Check attached screenshot, H4 is not even in category. Check the link

If your job/duties fit in the NIE category, then your spouse is eligible for NIE too.  Get an NIE letter from your company and send it to your spouse.  Good Luck.
