karthik17
Hi, I came to the U.S for Masters in 2014, I am about to finish my PhD in a year. I am working full time for my university(state employee - IT job), I am on H1-B and my I-140 has been approved. I need to travel to India in a few months but the consulate in India is indefinitely closed. My background: I have lived in the United States for 6 years, finished my masters here and finishing my PhD soon. I am an Indian citizen, lived and studied until Bachelor's in India. Will I be able to get my visa stamped in Canada? Will there be any problems? (first time visa stamping) Appreciate any guidance. Thanks, Karthik. Quote Link to comment

Aanchal Singh
Hi Karthik, Did you get your first H1b visa stamped from Canada ? If yes, could you please share your experiences ? I have the same background as yours and I need to get my first H1b stamping done from Canada. I have also applied for Canada's visitor visa which is currently in progress. Quote Link to comment
