Forced by employer to change H1b role

I have been working for a an employer for past few years but due to recent changes in the minimum wages for the job title , I was asked to change the job title so that the wage limit are lower since the employer does not want to pay more during H1b extension.

Let me know if we can take any action against the employer related to this kind of behavior/actions.

Do you also have an end client?  It is all connected. Employer is not able to pay more because he is not getting paid more by the end client.

You can try finding a new employer who will give you the rate you desire.  Good Luck.

No one can force you to work for such employer, you can leave anytime if you wish.

File a complaint with DOL on form WH4. And find a better employer.
