H4 + H4 EAD Extension

Hi,

A month ago my employer filed for my H1b amendment & extension and it is approved for 3 years. My wife is on H4 and currently working on H4 EAD which is valid for next 6 months.

As USCIS suspended, biometrics for H4 extension -

1) Can we apply for H4 extension and H4 EAD extension together?

2) Do I need any attorney or my employer to file for these extensions?

3) If I can file these extensions myself (without the need of my employer/attorney), do I need to send the package(s) to same service center where my H1 extension got approved?

Any quick responses to these questions are greatly appreciated.

Your employer should have applied for H4 + H4 EAD along with your own amendment + extension.

Ans. 1)  Yes, you can apply for H4 + H4 EAD extension together.

Ans. 2)  Your employer can help you file these extensions.

Ans. 3) If you file these extensions yourself, check the USCIS website for the address to mail out the documents.
