Ashu88 Posted May 19, 2021 Report Share Posted May 19, 2021 Hi All, My husband and myself travelled to India on Apr 11th and submitted documents for dropbox on 16th April 2021. Our passport is stuck with chennai consulate. As we both are here, we are paying rent, car loan and all the expenses from here. As per policy we cannot work from India unless our company end our onsite deputation and start off-shore deputation. Even with Indian salary we will not be able to afford all the basic rent. We have no clue when the ban will be lifted. We are devastated now. Is there anyway to get passport atleast, are there any options ? Our passport status says "passport has been received from the consular section and is currently being processed for delivery" Quote Link to comment
