vedantsinha
I received a RFE which required me to submit further proof of income along with a new Form I-864. My wife (a US citizen) is my petitioning sponsor and I am applying for a green card through marriage. I do not have a EAD yet so the income on the Form I-864 is solely hers. As of her current pay-rate, she makes way above the federal poverty guidelines for a household of 2 (just me and her). However, she worked only half of last year, first at a different job which paid a little less, and then at her current job. Due to her only working half of last year and switching jobs as well, her tax documents do not reflect her current income and do not put us above the federal poverty guidelines. My question is how do we reflect that her income now is over the federal poverty guidelines? Quote Link to comment
newacct
With the last several months of her pay stubs, and, if possible, a letter from the employer verifying her salary. Quote Link to comment
