I-130 + I-485 Concurrent Filing for Mother - Do I need to file I-944 and I-864 as well?

I am filing I-130 + I-485 through Concurrent Filing for my mom. Since I am the son and sponsor, do I need to file I-944 - Declaration of Self Sufficiency besides I-864 Affidavit of Support  as well? She does not have any other income other than interest income on fixed deposits and rental income in India. She is not a tax payer in india as well.

Since I am the sponsor, can I not use my income to prove my mom's self sufficiency?

You file I-864. She files I-944. You can be counted in her I-944 household if you provide more than 50% of her support.

My  I-130 + I-864  and my Mom I-485 + I 944 concurrent filing documents reached the processing center on 24th February.

We are yet to receive the Receipt Notice of this filing. 

My mother is here in the US on Visitor's Visa and her I-94 will expire on 4th April 2021.

Do we need to file an extension of the Visitors' Visa?

I was told that this is not required since we have sent in the request for adjustment of status well before the I-94 expiry.

Can someone please advise?
