GC primary/derivative

Greetings, I have my 485 filed in 2012 approved and a card ordered for production as of 01/04/2021. My wife was only recently added to my primary application as a derivative with a receipt notice date of October 20th 2020. She is currently on H4 and has a job using her H4 EAD. While her I-485 application was receipted, her I-765 application to change the category of her EAD from H4 to I-485 submitted in mid December 2020 is still pending and not even receipted yet. If I receive my green card, lets say, within the next 2 weeks, what happens to her H4 status and more importantly validity of her H4-EAD card while we wait for her follow-to-join derivative application approved? Does she have to quit her job until either her I-485 EAD is issued or her GC is issued?

As soon as your I-485 was approved, you became a permanent resident, and no longer have H1b status, and she no longer has H4 status. So she cannot work on her H4 EAD now.
