Change of status from H4 to H1b

Hi Team,

My H1b petition got picked in the second lottery this year and receipt number got generated. Awaiting for approval decision. My current visa status is h4.

But My husband employer is going to start his H1b transfer in January 2021. Along with his application, His employer is going to include my H4 transfer as well.

My query is will there be any effect on my H1B petition(like any RFE....) if my husband's H1b transfer and my H4 transfer starts in January 2021???

my H4 visa expires in August 2021.

I am not sure how long USCIS takes to tell the approval decision of second lottery petitions.

Is your H1b processing in regular or premium?  You can be only on one status at a time .... your husband's employer can start your H4 transfer and it can process simultaneously along with your H1b processing (assuming it is in regular processing).  Once you have your H1b approval, you can then decide which status you would like to continue in.
