SamHooster
I have a weird scenario. My LCA says proffered wage on h1b is $80K per annum. My total taxable pay is $75K and $10K is for health insurance premium which is deducted from my paycheck. This is non taxable amount($10k). I don't see this in my w2 but i do see $10k deductions in my pay stub. My questions is "Does health insurance premium (which is non taxable) also has to be considered while checking against proffered wage based on my LCA?" Technically I'm getting $85K per annum. But W2 shows only $75K. I keep hearing different answer from my company staff. Edited November 29, 2020 by SamHooster changed prevailing to proffered wage Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
Employer must pay aleast what is in LCA. LCA amount is the minimum employer must pay. Quote Link to comment
