krk7 Posted October 14, 2020 Report Posted October 14, 2020 Hi, I had applied for H1 visa extension in May 2020 and got it approved under premium, at the same time I had applied for H4 petition for my wife. My wife's employer had filed H1 for her in Sep 2019 and it got approved in June 2020. My wife sent a mail to USCIS that she wants to withdraw her H4 petition in June 15 2020. We got a mail 2 weeks before ( Sep 2020) stating that my wife need not go for biometrics for H4 as USCIS has her data already and they will be proceeding with her H4 petition. I called USCIS and they told they haven't received any mail about our intention to cancel H4 visa. We have sent a mail again to USCIS to withdraw my wife's H4 petition. I am concerned now about her H4 petition, will USCIS process it and convert the H1 again to H4. What can I do to talk to USCIS and stop the processing. Thanks in advance for your suggestions Quote
