Venkata11 Posted October 4, 2020 Report Posted October 4, 2020 Hi All, Does the total value of cash and jewelry (gold) has to be below $10000 to avoid paying any tax? Do we need to pay tax, if the gold jewelry is offered as a gift and if the value is more than $4000? Where in the customs form we need to enter these values for cash and gold? and does it have to be a combine value or seperate? Quote
pontevecchio Posted October 7, 2020 Report Posted October 7, 2020 Would you please look at the CBP site? You do not pay tax on gold or any amount of money brought in to the USA. But they have to be declared based on the quantity/amounts. Quote
