maddir Posted August 17, 2011 Report Share Posted August 17, 2011 Due to an emergency I had to travel to India during my CAPGAP relief period on 3rd August 2011. I have my h1b approved which will start on Oct 1st. I can only work from Oct 1st. I lost my project but some how was able to get another project which I have not joined yet. Can I go for H1b stamping with this new project(contract) which has a future start date. Thanks, Sujith Link to comment

Currently working as a Full Time Employee with H1B visa approved, need to travel to India before the H1b start date(October 1st, 2015), due to personal emergency. My employer has agreed to return after H1b start date, I would like to know if it is okay to travel now and apply for H1b visa stamping in September and return to USA after 1st of October, 2015.
