H1B - Visa stamping from India

Hi ,

I have valid I-797 and I came to India for visa extension and got stuck here in India . Aug-12th DOS has added more exemption to H1B visa like one below 

"…seeking to resume ongoing employment in the United States in the same position with the same employer and visa classification"

I'm still with same employer and in the same position ,will I be eligible for visa stamping or are there any other factors I need to consider to be eligible for this .

I feel you are eligible to get stamped when consulates open and start accepting interviews...

Same here. Not much information out there to understand what the process is to book an appointment. Is you process going to be through dropbox or face 2 face?
