iornman.desi Posted August 28, 2020 Report Posted August 28, 2020 Hi, Iam on i140 and with employer A. If got an offer with employer B. My i140 was approved in 2016 If I quit A and join B, can A cancel my i140.? Also after an year ,If I rejoin A,can the same i140 be used? Thanks, Bharath Quote
JoeF Posted August 28, 2020 Report Posted August 28, 2020 If the I-140 has been approved for 6 months a cancellation is irrelevant. If the I-140 is cancelled the old employer can not use it again, he would have to start the process from scratch. Quote
pontevecchio Posted August 28, 2020 Report Posted August 28, 2020 Yes. A can revoke the approval though most companies will not bother. Based on your previous approval, you retain that PD for subsequent GC filings by other employers. 13 hours ago, iornman.desi said: Also after an year ,If I rejoin A,can the same i140 be used? Does A have no choice in the matter? If revoked, A will have to file the I-140 once again from scratch. Quote
