Shavez Williams Posted July 29, 2020 Report Posted July 29, 2020 I'm very concerned as there's a new development and today USCIS updated my case as: "On July 28, 2020, USCIS made the decision to refund the fee for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number....................... Your refund will be mailed to the fee remitter on file. This refund does not affect the processing or location of your case. If you do not receive your refund by October 26, 2020, please call the Burlington Finance Center at 1-802-288-7600. If you move, go to uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address". I don't know what this means and I never expedited my case. Also it's been months since November 2019 last year after the biometrics completed and EAD Combo Cards issued to us in October 2019, my family and I have been waiting for 8 months for our Green Cards. And all of a sudden I get this shocking update. Could someone please tell me what does this mean and what's going to happen....... Quote

Shavez Williams Posted July 31, 2020 Author Report Posted July 31, 2020 Can you let me know what happened with the others in the same situation? Does it mean they are closing the file or denying it? Quote
