H1B transfer application with Premium Processing (after lay-off due to Covid-19)

Package delivered (signed by USCIS): July 17 2020

60th day of the grace period: July 18th 2020

Joining Date with the new employer: they wont let me join till petition is approved

 

2 questions:

1) Still waiting for the case number email - is it taking this long these days, even for PP?

2) How long is it taking these day for the decision on the case, for PP (assuming no RFE)?

You need to get an actual receipt from USCIS...package delivery has no value

2. Longer, if your attorney inquires with USCIS, he may get standard response as there are no definitive timeline if your case is under active examination.

Is the check cashed by USCIS?  Many times LIN#/WAC# is mentioned on the cashed check which can be tracked.
