I have received a job with another University and I am in the process of VISA transfer. The start date of my new job is 10th August 2020. The new employer is filing the H1b Transfer in premium processing. H1b from current employer expires on 22nd December 2022. My question is suppose my new H1b arrives before 10th of August 2020 (The start date of my new job). Can I join my new job on 20th August and keep working for the old employer until 19th August? In that case, I will have two active 797s between 10th August and 20th August (Although I will be only working for one employer at any given point in time). Thank you in advance for your advise.
