Work from home during pandemic

Hello, can someone please let me know how many days can a H1B employee work from home in a calendar year? I do stay within 2 miles from office whose address is listed in LCA. I have been working from home for about a month and a half due to the pandemic. I would like to continue working from home for safety reasons and would like to know what it takes to do so. Is there any amendment done to the remote working rules due to COVID-19? If yes, it would be great if you could direct me to USCIS or DHS website that talks about the amendment.

I am also in same boat. I am working from home which is 10 miles from my work location and when I asked my employer he said we are good. I am not going to go visa stamping in near future. I already have visa stamping till DEC 2021.

You should be ok as long as you are with in the MSA of the LCA that was filed for the H1. You are just 2 miles from office so you should be ok.

But if you are in a different state or city and working from home for more than 60 days then you need to file an amendment.
