123vish
Hi All, My employer (consultancy) had filed an h1b application that got picked in the lottery before my end client project got terminated due to COVID-19. Can I still apply for h1b petition? Is there any relaxation issued in this case by USCIS? Is there any possibility that I can come out of this situation? Thank you Quote Link to comment
JoeF
You don't apply for an H1, the employer applies. And the employer would have to have a project for you. If they don't have that the case can not go forward. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
Can I still apply for h1b petition? I -- Its your employer/petitioner will decide since it's their petition not yours. Is there any relaxation issued in this case by USCIS? - Nope. Is there any possibility that I can come out of this situation? - since your client project ended your lottery H1B conditions changed and even if your petitions submits the document if they get RFE on client it will be hard. Talk with your employer/attorney. Quote Link to comment
User099
You can file if you find any other job by filing deadline. No relaxation due to COVID. Quote Link to comment
