DhirajChaudhari Posted June 24, 2020 Report Posted June 24, 2020 My both the kids are US citizen(Age: 5 years and 2 years). I am stuck in India with family (me, wife and kids). I do have I-797 approved (I-140 is also approved) till March 2022. Since the kids are US citizen and I do have I-797 and I-140 approved. Will I get an exception for Visa stamping? considering hopes for amendment in latest executive order signed regarding H1B. Please help Quote
gopalakrishnach Posted June 24, 2020 Report Posted June 24, 2020 Will I get an exception for Visa stamping? US kids will not give you special treatment, You are not exempted. Quote
User099 Posted June 25, 2020 Report Posted June 25, 2020 Even if you get a visa stamp, you can't travel till the ban is lifted. Only those who had a valid stamp by 6/24 are allowed to travel. Quote
DhirajChaudhari Posted June 25, 2020 Author Report Posted June 25, 2020 My visa appointment was scheduled on 27th March, but due to covid it got cancelled else my visa would have got stamped. USA consulate in india is closed since 16th March, so i am expecting at least those whose appointment was cancelled should be allowed to enter Quote
User099 Posted July 4, 2020 Report Posted July 4, 2020 EO doesn't carve out any such exceptions. Quote
