VP_Sing
Hi, I got my H-1B approved recently, but my first name is incomplete on the approval notice. Upon further investigation, I realized that the attorney had entered my first name as "Kulbir" on the i129 form, instead of my legal first name "Kulbir Singh." When I contacted the attorney, she replied that I may use my full legal name when I lodge my H-1B application at the US consulate and the visa will be issued with my correct legal name then. I was wondering if she is correct? Also, incidentally the i-797C notice of my application displays my full legal name. Thanks and Regards! Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
I feel you are good. In DS 160 and visa interview application profile give full legal name. Quote Link to comment
