Sumya
So I have an approved I-140 from "Company A". It was approved in August 2018. I changed my employer to "Company B" in April 2019. "Company B" did the H1b transfer and new H1b expires in April 2022. Questions: If "Company B" decides not to apply for I-140, then can we renew the "Company B" H1b after April 2022 based on the "Company A" I-140? If I switch to "Company C" now, then can the "Company C" use the "Company A" I-140 to transfer the H1b and get 3 year expiration date on new H1b? Quote Link to comment

Sumya
Thank you guys. So basically once I-140 is approved and valid, you dont really need a new I-140 from your current employer till your priority date is current. Quote Link to comment
