rama271 Posted February 16, 2020 Report Share Posted February 16, 2020 (edited) Hi, I have a plan to go for stamping in India in April (eligible for drop box) but I lost my I797A copy when my employer send it through USPS. (If I apply duplicate, it will take 4-5 months. so this option is eliminated). I have below questions in mind. Can any one please suggest what to do? 1, Can I go for drop box with I797 photo copy without original ? 2. If they ask me to come for interview, will it be problem because of not having original I797? 3. what are chances of VISA approval without original I797? 4. If VISA is approved without original I797, what are chances of getting problem in US immigration? Appreciate your help!!
