H1B RFE - Same end client and same employer

Hello Everyone,

I am a Consultant. My Employer did an H1B amendment for my current client. After 6 months I got an RFE today.  Now the Current client trying to extend my contract with new prime vendor and trying to end my existing contract with existing prime vendor. In this case Employer and End client are same. only layers are changing.

My extension is coming on May 2020.

Now My question is 

1. I need to revoke my current RFE and file an new amendment with an extension with new vendor layers?

What is the RFE about? From what I know changing the layers in the middle is not a reason for amendment.

Your employer will address this. They need to suggest. I do not see any amendment with new layers. You need to just respond to RFE.
