kath
There was an incident related to petty theft happened due to my kid mistake in universal florida last year and got a civil demand letter. no fingerprint. No citation and no summon, No arrest and no conviction. took photograph and signed a paper and banned for 1 year from universal. Paid the civil demand letter and they said civil matter is closed. What to fill in ds160 for this question. Have you ever been arrested or convicted for any offense or crime, even though subject of a pardon, amnesty, or other similar action? I am going for visa interview next week and wanted to ensure what other documents related to this i have to carry. Any quick help is appreciated. Quote Link to comment

pontevecchio
How old is your child? It is very rare to pursue a child for shoplifting especially if you were able to pay for the goods. Hence if you paid up as per the demand letter, there would seem to be the end of the matter. In any case, discuss the matter with an Immigration Lawyer Quote Link to comment
Experiencepeace
If cops were not involved and no citation given to appear in court, you would say NO on ds-160 Quote Link to comment
