H1B Amendment Travel

Hello Everyone,

 

I am planning for India travel as I have approved i797 and visa stamp until 2021. but recently I have filed Normal amendment due to client change.

So am I good to travel during this period or Should I need to wait until my amendment gets approved?

Please let me know.

I will wait for the decision on the amendment before traveling.

Better to wait.. it is advised not to travel during h1B processing. Anything can happen so better stay in USA.

Sure and also Amendment is considered as H1b processing?
I mean although I have h1b approved and visa stamped. Just want to clear this out from my head.

Gopal, Thank you for your patience replies.

Let's say if my current Amendment rejected as per my understanding still I have old one since I am with same employer so I can go back and work in that old location?
So  if above is yes then I thought it would be fine to travel.

Sorry if I am extending this but just want to confirm.
