cks2016 Posted September 9, 2019 Report Share Posted September 9, 2019 Hi guys: I need your opinion on my case.I have my current h1b petition approved till 01/09/2020..this was my 4th extension..my company usually applies six months in advance of existing petition..and by God's grace i got the new petition also approved till 01/10/2023..my approval notice is with my attorney..H4 fingerprint done..and waiting on approval for my family.My I-140 approved, and am in 12th year in the USA...since 2008 March.. Given my case,in case i lose my job or if i change my job..is the transfer going to be an issue.. 2:Am i eligible for 60days grace period based on the new approved petition 3:If i transfer my case to new employer,is the new validity good enough (01/09/2023) Quote Link to comment

The approval of your transfer application will depend on the new job or paper work you submit for transfer application and not your previous approvals. 2. you will have 60 days after your job end if you have a valid I94. 3. Your transfer application and approval will not be dependent on your new Validity (01/09/2023). Your transfer application will be a new case and your approval will depend on your new job offer.
