If no, if I register via foreign marriage act, will it be valid in india ? Should the passport be updated after registering the marriage in the USA ? Is it recommened to get an attorney ? Both of us are india citizens (Special marriage act). Does anyone know if I have to do the 1 month process (special marriage act) in india even after registering the marriage in the USA ?
