Nikhil Aherkar
Hi, I recently change my job and transfer my h1b visa. But my old stamped visa is valid till 30th March,2020 and new employer petition is approved till July,2022. I am planning to get married in December,2019 and planning to take my wife with me by doing her new h4 visa. As my old visa stamp is still valid, can I apply for H4 visa for my wife ( as I am no longer working with my stamped employer company)? Or Should we both go for visa transfer stamping and my wife H4 visa stamping together? Can you please help me with process and easy way to get my wife’s H4 stamping and approval process for me and her? Quote Link to comment

pontevecchio
Your H1 visa stamp has no connection to her H4 visa application. She will apply for a H4 visa stamp based on your new employer petition approval. Forget your old visa stamp. It is not relevant to the current issue. Look at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-visarenew.asp for documents. Quote Link to comment
