Travel international when new H1B is under review

I am currently on my STEM-OPT with valid F1 visa till 2021 . My H1B is picked this year in lottery and awaiting for approval.  Due to unavoidable reason i need to travel   India from  Aug to mid September . If i go then  what happens would happen to my H1B application ?
