H1 B -- Visa Stamping in Delhi Consulate - 221g issued

I got 221g on June 10 , which asked for additional documents like I129 petition, LCA, End Client Letter , internal project etc. I have submitted the documents and received a confirmation from the consulate. 

My questions: 

1. How long will the process take to complete. I am waiting in uncertainty.

2. Can i work for the end client while on 221g, is that legal and okay ?

1. No timeline. May be 4 to 6 weeks.

I'm also in same boat, Interview date 5/17, still waiting for response. My passport is still with embassy.
