H1b and H4 Amendment/Extension denied? Am I out of status?

My H1 Amendment/Extension petition that I filed on February 1, 2019 got denied on June 3, 2019 after a RFE. My original H1b which I filed is set to expire on July 12, 2019 (My wife’s H4 is set to expire on same day)

 

But, my employer filed H1 Amendment/Extension last year on April 18, 2018 when I joined a client which got approved on February 11, 2019 has validity until March 27, 2021 (We didn’t apply H4 together with it and my wife’s status expires on July 12, 2019)

 

Here is my question,

1. Am I out of status because my Amendment/Extension petition got denied on June 3, 2019 and Am I accruing illegal status time? Also, Is my wife out of status too?

I am not at all an expert so please do not take my word for granted. These are just my feelings. Your Feb 2019 application is latest since it reflects your latest working conditions. It got rejected. So I feel you are accruing illegal status. Please get it resolved as soon as possible and why you are asking that here. What your employer says.
