LCA SOC Code during extension

Hi, I have approved I-140 from my previous employer with SOC Code (say A). I switched to another company where my transfer was applied in same SOC code(A). Now I am applying my extension (post 6 years completion and based on approved I-140 from previous employer) and wanted to know if extension can be filed on different SOC code or its advised same SOC code should be used? Please note my job duties are still same but title is different which is leading to different SOC Code.

Any employer using an approved i-140 can file H1b for any position with any SOC code provided the position meets h1b criteria.

Yes. The approved I-140 lets you get extensions beyond 6 years and the extension will be approved based on merits and not the SOC code.
