Rehan22
My employer was applying for H1b from last 2 years and it was not getting picked-up in lottery. This year is also applied and I just got to know 2 days back that it got picked up. Meanwhile, I have applied for Masters programs in USA for next fall term because I didn't have much confidence about getting through this year as well. Currently, the universities are processing my I-20 application. I'm planning to go forward with h1b visa and i'm bit concerned now that I-20 applications might impact the h1b stamping. Please share your thoughts about the impact of I-20 applications. Edited June 5, 2019 by Rehan22 Quote Link to comment
JoeF
The I-20 has no impact. Quote Link to comment
gopalakrishnach
I do not think your I120 will impact your H1B. I may be wrong. I am not an expert... Quote Link to comment
02112018
It all depends on your fate & luck, they only enter your full name & receipt number to run the lottery. They don't open your packet. If your name is selected in lottery then they open up your packet. Quote Link to comment
