Hi,

MY H1was under processing before I travelled to India but there was some issue and I came back to US on H4. I applied for H4 EAD once I entered the country.

I recently received an RFE on my old H1 and Now it is approved. I started working now on my H1 but I am expecting my H4 EAD next week. Can I apply for status change H1 - H4 and start working on my H4 EAD?

If I travel out of country, Can I come back on my H4? Or do I need to go for stamping again?

Please advise.

Best option is to go out of country and come back on H-4. No stamping needed if you already have one.
