H1B query regd status/outofstatus

Hello,

I got H1B in Jan-19 from an employer  and don't have a job for 4 months. Now my employer has been terminated me officially from a job and still H1B petition is valid.  He is asking me to apply COS from H1 to H4.

The employer terminated me after 90 days without any paystubs.  Do I still have any grace period to transfer my H1B?

Not sure. New employer might ask for pay stubs. If you are unpaid for 4 months you are out of status.
