I140 Approved, Can I stay beyond max out without H1 extension file

I have my I140 approved.

My max out is currently 05/01/2019. Company don't have much time to file H1B extension.

Can I stay and work on US beyond max out without filling extension?

No. The company would have to file an extension

This situation would be ideal where one is allowed to work after getting I-140 approved. But unfortunately not possible.

How did you handled your situation ?

Did you filed extension before your maxout date ?
