H4 got approved - H4 EAD still in process - Can continue to work?

1. Applied H1B, H4 Extensions on premium and got approved

2.Applied for H4 EAD extension - got the receipt and still in process

As H4 already approved and received Can i continue to work on expired H4 EAD?

On Receipt i saw it auto renewal for 180 days, but not sure whether its applicable for C(26) case?

H4 EAD under c26 will not be auto renewal for 180 days. You MUST WAIT for the new card in hand before continuing/starting work.

No you cannot. You need to wait for the physical card since your current EAD card has expired. Auto renewal is not for every category. C(26) is not in the list for auto renewal for 180 days category.
