H4 EAD renewal based on i797 from another employer (not joined)

Hi,
I'm working for an IT company in NJ on valid H1b for last 9 years & I have an approved i-140. My current H1B with my current company is valid till April'2019.
I got an offer from another consulting company (Emp B) last year with which my H1B was approved & valid till April'2021.
Now question is can I get my wife's H4 EAD renewed based on my H1b approval from Employer B (which I got till April '2021) even though I didn't join them.

can you please advice if its okay to get H4 EAD renewed with valid H1 petition from Employer whom I didn't joined.

Her H4 EAD will be based on your approved I-140 . H1 has nothing to do with it.
