Travel to India when H1-B is pick for OPT Extensions

Hello, 
Currently, I'm working with some employer and they recently filed an H1-B process, and i'm in OPT Extention its valid/ End date up-to August 2020.

1. In case if H1 "PICK's" is it safe to travel to India in "May 2019" dates are (05-07-2019 to 05-31-2019)?

2. If H1 PICK's in May-2019 when I'm in India, what should I need to do? Need to carry any documents?
