nnarang85 Posted March 30, 2019 Report Posted March 30, 2019 Hello Experts, Recently my wife went for H4 stamping - I have a visa stamp until August 2019 but my i-94 & I-797 is valid until May 2021 as I had switched my job last year. When my wife went for stamping they stamped only till August 2019 but my I-797 was valid till May 2021 - Is this a mistake on their side or it is usually they give it until H1B Spouse end date stamp? If it is a mistake - can she reach out to the consulate again? My second question is - Since my I-140 is approved I plan to apply for H4 EAD - Will they give it till August 2019 or May 2021? Thanks!
