Question on H1 Portability

Fellow readers,

Situation - I am waiting for approval on H1 Transfer with a new employer. I have an approved I140 with my new employer. My last approved H1 visa was till Dec 2018 with my last employer. Can another company/employer sponsor my H1 Transfer based on the last approved Visa and I140?

I am working on Receipt notice in US.

Any company can file a H1 petition for you and on approval, you will need to leave and return with the H1 visa stamp since your I94 has expired.

If your I-140 is pending 6 months plus, you are entitled to further H1 extensions till the PD is  current.
