H1b Transfer from new employer to current employer

Hi,

I am currently working full time for employer X and got my h1 approved on Feb 2019 valid till April 2020 with Consultancy. Is it possible for me to do h transfer immediately from consultancy to employer X or am i supposed to work with consultancy for a while to be eligible for the transfer?

You need to work with original petitioner at least for one pay check before transferring your H1b.

General rule of thumb is to get one paycheck available to send to USCIS for change in employment from old to new employer. But for legal purposes, only one day of work is good enough to start a change of employment . In short you can change anytime after joining an employer.
