Sushil1982
As you all know TD visa is for spouse/dependent of TN visa (Canadian national). My wife and kid are Indian citizens and PR of Canada and presently living in Canada. 1. Where they should apply for their TD visa in Canada (being PR) OR in India (being Indian Citizen)? If they apply in Canada is there any issue? 2. What happens to existing B2 visa if they apply for TD visa? Link to comment
3com_kingston
As your Spouse and Child are still Indian Citizen (period) They cannot get TD Visa. As it is Exclusively for Canadian Citizens ONLY. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Thats not true. ""Spouse and children who are not Canadian citizens must apply for TD nonimmigrant visas. Spouse and Children – Your spouse and unmarried, minor children may apply for TD visas to accompany you to the United States or join you later. You must be able to show your ability to financially support your family in the United States. Review TN NAFTA Professionals information on the USCIS website for information about employment and studying while in the United States in TD nonimmigrant status. Canadian citizen spouses and children do not need visas, but should review the CBP website for the port of entry requirements. Spouse and children who are not Canadian citizens must apply for TD nonimmigrant visas. Mexican citizen spouse and children must apply for TD nonimmigrant visas."" Link to comment
