OPT F1 to COS H4 and EAD H4 with future effective date

Currently my wife is in  F1 OPT STEM extension status which is going to be complete by MAY 2019.We are planning to apply concurrent filling COS H4 and H4 ead with future effective date which is june 1st 2019(right after OPT ends), is that possible? can we expect USCIS approved both at same time and give us approved H4 and H4-EAD with given effective date?

Also we will apply Master's quota H1b next year(april 2019) if she get H1 approved and the last visa status will be granted right?

Most of the times USCIS approves both applications on same day.

@JoeF : Thanks, I didn't realize, it got posted 2 times. will delete old one.

Quick question on your reply : You replied "The EAD will only be processed once she is in H4 status. So there will be a gap."  As we are applying concurrent filling still there will be a gap? Few are saying USCIS will approve both COS h4 and H4 ead  with given future effective date. Can you please respond?

Not sure. USCIS may or may not honor the future date. But if your H-4 and H-4 EAD are approved on same day you will not have any employment gap.
