Raj1128
My H1B visa will expire on Apr 20, 2018 and i am expecting a baby on March 1st, 2018. I have 1.5 months to get passport & Indian visa for my son. Just in case, if i don't get documentation done in 1.5 months, what are my options. Can i make an exception and stay back until the documents are completed. Please help. Link to comment
pontevecchio
Do you mean 2019? Link to comment
JoeF
I guess you mean 2019... If you expected a baby on March 1, 2018 it would already be born... You would have to file a COS to another state, e.g., B2. Link to comment
Provence
Please stick to one thread per topic and avoid duplicate/spamming threads. There are no exceptions (eg for having a baby). Either change status to something more appropriate if eligible, or travel back to India prior to visa expiration and have the baby in India. Link to comment
Rajesh4
Apply for baby's passport as soon as you get his\her SSN, After getting your baby's passport you can get 5 years visiting visa to India for the baby within 5 working days Link to comment
