I work as a full time employee and my current H1b expires in Jan 2019 ( company working on my perm/i140). I need to travel to India in April 2018 for a family occasion. Given the current scenario, will it be an issue if you go to stamping with less than an year on your H1b? Has anyone faced a similar experience? Thanking you in advance your your inputs.
