H1-B Transfer without extension being approved

[H1-B User]

Hi,

My extension was filed by my current employer and I am waiting for the extension to be approved. My visa got expired.

Can I now switch jobs and move to another employer ?

Will my new employer be able to apply for H1-B transfer without the current extension being approved ?

I dont think so. You might need to wait until your extension gets approved
