i797 in RFE, will this be issue at visitor visa stamping for parents

Hi,

One of my friend applied for his Father's Visitor Visa, with the answer to DS160 question - 'who will pay for your expenses' as son - that is as my friend being sponsor for this Father.

Now the amendment which he had applied while working at this location went to RFE. His older approved i797 is still having validity date.

So the concern was will this be any issue at his Father's visa stamping? Is the older i797 which is having approval status good enough at consulate interview?

Your H1 is no way related to your father's visiting visa.
